The College of Arts and Interior Design is an academic institution dedicated to teaching and developing creative and technical skills in the fields of arts and design. The college offers degree programs in disciplines such as interior design, visual arts, graphic design, fashion design, and industrial design. Its mission is to prepare students to become professionals capable of creating innovative design solutions that meet societal needs while emphasizing aesthetic, functional, and sustainable aspects. Students acquire skills in creative thinking, modern technology application, and project planning and organization, enabling them to pursue careers in various fields such as interior decoration, graphic design, project management, and fine arts.

College Goals

The Applied Arts College Program aims to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical technical skills in their field of specialization, with a strong focus on developing their problem-solving abilities and fostering innovative and creative solutions in design. The program also trains students in the use of cutting-edge 2D and 3D computer software, enhancing their ability to execute projects with high efficiency. Graduate Description

Graduates of the program should have acquired scientific and practical skills in all aspects and applications of interior design. They must have a solid understanding of fundamental concepts in the field, including drawing, technical drafting, photography, coloring, spatial planning, materials and finishes, lighting and acoustics, design styles, quantity estimation, and professional practice. Additionally, graduates should be proficient in digital design software and its various applications in computer-aided interior design. They must also have a comprehensive knowledge of the historical evolution of interior design, its theories, and the various styles that have shaped the discipline over time. Furthermore, graduates should possess strong research and analytical skills, enabling them to conduct scientific studies and reports, gather and analyze information, and present findings in a structured manner. Finally, they must be fully aware of the ethical and professional standards of the field and be well-versed in fieldwork practices, quantity surveying, specifications, and technical contracts essential for interior design applications.
